Become a Member of Haciendas and Historic Hotels of Mexico
 
Our Purpose

Haciendas y Estancias of Mexico, also referred to as Haciendas and Historic Hotels of Mexico, acts as a specialized consulting body for financial development projects connected with historical heritage. Our motto is to rehabilitate, maintain, preserve and administrate our historical heritage, focusing our activities towards tourism as an alternative which also achieves the goal of making people enjoy destinations beyond the traditional ones.

The mission of Haciendas and Historic Hotels of Mexico is to promote its member hotels to the public as a collection of historic traveling experiences. As a marketing association, the program actively promotes the unique nature of its member hotels with the goal of generating room nights, building brand identity, and promoting preservation. If you are the owner of a hotel or restaurant you can become a member of Haciendas and Historic Hotels of Mexico and get the benefits of pertaining to a group with over 10 years of experience and over 65 associated establishments.
 

Criteria to Join:

1.    Members of Haciendas and Historic Hotels of Mexico must be located in a building at least 50 years old. Twenty percent of room inventory must be in a historic building.
2.    The building must be recognized locally as having historic significance.
3.    Every property must submit to an inspection process by HHM representatives prior to their approval. Of prime importance: historic character, architectural quality, full service F&B facilities and preservation efforts.


Key Membership Requirements:

•    Hotel members must showcase and distribute the HHM directory to guests upon request. It is provided free to hotels by HHM for distribution via the guest room, concierge or other location.
•    Hotels must display the HHM plaque provided free by HHM. It is a bronze plaque designed for the building’s exterior.
•    Hotels must regularly provide property information, rate structures and availability to HHM reservation system
