Historic Significance

The engineer, Alberto Malo, built this magnificent mansion in 1890 during the period of Porfirio Díaz when Mexico was under a strong french influence. The Malo family lived there for a time. Subsecuently the house was rented by various families from Guanajuato.

In 1986, the property was aquired by the brothers  Javier and  Ismael Pérez Ordaz who began the restoration process taking into account the original beauty of the arquitectural design. The attention to detail combined with modern luxury make this hotel unique.
