Directions
Driving from Leon, Irapuato, Mexico City or the airport high road, you will find a circle with a statue of Santa Fe. Turn left, and follow the signs to the city of Guanajuato about 1 KM turn right. Passing 2 tunnels turn right and follow signs to Pozuelos and Presa de la Olla. Follow this road until the circle with a Monument to Cervantes. Take the entrance to the tunnel in front of this monument. Almost at the end there is a street on the right. Follow this street to Paseo de la Presa or Presa de la Olla. After the tunnel take a right and follow this street until the park. Take the street running paralel to the park to the end. Turn left and after the Jardin las Acasias with the monument to Miguel Hidalgo turn left again and follow the street past the Office of Finanzas (2 big lions are in front). A short ways farther is Hotel Quinta las Acacias on the right recognizable for its many balconies.
