Overview
Hotel Mansion Iturbe is located in front of the Plaza Vasco de Quiroga, considered one of most beautiful central squares of America. This small and cozy hotel has 12 individually decorated rooms. The ceilings measuring five meters in height , original wooden floors, hand carved doors , antiques and colorful locally produced textiles used in the drapes and spreads make the hotel unique conserving the style of the 17th Century.
Visitors can appreciate the folklore and Purepechan culture in every corner as well as colorful paintings by recognized local artists. The Mansion Iturbe is the most classic example of Patzcuarense architecture.
