While staying in Mansion Iturbe guests can enjoy walking around the main Plazas of Patzcuaro such as the Plaza Vasco de Quiroga, the Plaza San Francisco, Plaza Santuario. Also there are museums and shops that offer a great diversity of arts & crafts and also hand crafted table clothes, etc. Visiting the House of the Eleven Patios is a very good option.

On the sorroundings you have to visit the Lake of Patzcuaro and the Islands of Janitzio and Jaracuaro. Other places to visit nearby are the town of Santa Clara del Cobre where copper is produced and you can find all sorts of little things.

Tzintzuntzan, Tupataro, Ihuatzio are some other places to visit that are located near by.
