Overview
Between the Volcan de Fuego, "The Fire Volcano", and El Nevado de Colima, "The Snowy Volcano" lies the majestic Hacienda de San Antonio.
Built in 1879 by the German coffee planter, Arnoldo Vogel, today the hacienda consists of 470 acres which form part of a dairy farm and a 5000 acre producing coffee plantation.
A volcanic stone aqueduct, dating from 1904, continues to distribute water to the Hacienda and its extensive gardens inspired by the Alhambra Palace in Spain. The 19th century chapel of San Antonio, of neoclassic religious architecture, is used today for special festivals.
The magnificent hotel of refined elegance offers a glimpse of the spirit of Mexico in an intimate and exclusive atmosphere, exquisite cuisine and breathtaking natural beauty.
