Overview

 The Camino Real Puebla is located in the historic center of the colonial city of Puebla de los Angeles, founded in 1531 by the Spaniards and declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. 

The magnificent 16th century construction was the Convent of the Immaculate Conception from 1593 until 1861 when all church property was relinquished to the State under the Laws of Reform.

An 11 year restoration process transformed Camino Real Puebla, a luxury hotel with 84 rooms and suites decorated in the style of the Viceroy era. The original frescoes, religious artwork and antiques are all a reflection of its history. The hotel is a recipient of the "Four Diamond Award" from the American Automobile Association and is situated within easy walking distance of the city`s main attractions.
