Every Friday evening the traditional Oaxacan festival, La Guelaguetza, is celebrated in the 16th century chapel of the hotel. The performance includes dances and regional dress from the state´s seven regions. A buffet dinner of Oaxacan specialties is served during the festival, and local craftsmen exhibit and sell their wares.
