El Tarasco and La Fuente restaurants, recipients of the Distintivo H from the Department of Tourism for  high standards in the handling of food and beverages, offer the most select national and international cuisine with special emphasis on regional dishes.   Every Saturday evening there is an entertaining Mexican Night with a delicious   buffet of regional dishes from Michoacán, live music, mariachis and the traditional “Danza de los Viejitos”. 

La Fuente is located around a large fountain in the center of a luminous courtyard surrounded by arches which were inspired by the traditional homes of Pátzcuaro.  Relax in the very comfortable leather chairs known as “equipales” while enjoying morning coffee, an al fresco breakfast and the morning paper. 

Savor the delicious Sopa Tarasca and the traditional white fish in the El Tarasco dining room where high ceilings and large windows reflect the charm and welcoming atmosphere prevalent throughout Pátzcuaro.
